Constant stress can lead to the development of Alzheimer's disease

People who experience constant stress at work risk being at risk of aging with Alzheimer's disease
People who experience constant stress at work, risk to meet with elderly people with Alzheimer's disease. This conclusion was made by Swedish scientists from Umea University.
Scientists from Sweden study the relationship between the level of the stress hormone and memory. The experiment was conducted on rodents. Experts noticed that mice that arrived in a state of great stress had the lowest level of memory. They also had the highest level of beta-Ameloid proteins, which are directly related to the development of Alzheimer's disease.
Increasing the level of beta-ameloids leads to disruptions in the work of brain synapses, which worsens memory, causes its loss and other symptoms that are characteristic of Alzheimer's disease. Also, scientists drew attention to the neurosteroids of stress allopregnanolol. Researchers injected this steroid into one group of mice, and another group received injections of placebo.

In a group of mice that received injections of placebo, memory problems were noted in 41%, and in the other group, as many as 79%. The authors of the study believe that an elevated and regular level of the stress hormone may well become a trigger mechanism in the development of Alzheimer's disease.

But since this experiment was conducted on mice, the scientists plan to trace this process and study it also in the human body.
Previously, studies have been conducted that confirmed the relationship between stress and dementia. And to protect themselves from Alzheimer's disease, doctors strongly recommend that you train your brain, learn foreign languages, and also how you can less often be stressed.
